Got Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I service my aircon?
For residential units used daily, we recommend normal servicing every 3 months and a chemical wash every 6β12 months. Heavy-use commercial units may need servicing monthly. Regular maintenance prevents costly compressor failures and keeps energy bills low.
What's the difference between a chemical wash and a chemical overhaul?
A chemical wash involves flushing the coils and internal parts with a chemical solution while the unit stays mostly assembled. A chemical overhaul means fully dismantling the unit β removing the blower, fan, and all components β for a complete chemical soak and reassembly. Overhauls are recommended for units that haven't been serviced in over a year or are performing poorly.
How long does an aircon service take?
A normal service takes 30β45 minutes per unit. A chemical wash takes 1β1.5 hours, and a full chemical overhaul can take 2β3 hours per unit. We'll give you a time estimate when booking so you can plan accordingly.
Do you service all aircon brands?
Yes β our technicians are trained to service all major brands including Daikin, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, Samsung, LG, Midea, Hisense, York, Carrier, and more. Both residential split-units and commercial VRV/VRF systems.
My aircon is not cold β do I just need a gas top-up?
Not necessarily. Insufficient cooling can be caused by a dirty filter, blocked coils, low refrigerant, a failing compressor, or even a dirty outdoor unit. Our technician will diagnose the actual cause first and recommend the right fix β we don't top up gas without checking for leaks first, as topping up a leaking system is a temporary and wasteful fix.
Do you offer service contracts for multiple units?
Yes. We offer annual maintenance contracts for offices, commercial buildings, and residential properties with multiple units. Contract clients get priority scheduling, discounted rates, and detailed service records. Contact us to discuss a customised package.
