Why Certified Electrical Work Matters
⚠️
Never compromise on electrical work
Faulty electrical installations are the leading cause of house fires in Malaysia. All MKW Global electrical works are carried out by trained technicians using SIRIM-approved materials, following the MS IEC 60364 wiring standard. Every job is tested with a certified digital insulation tester and clamp meter before handover — not just visually inspected.
How It Works
Our 5-Step Electrical Process
1
Site Survey & Load Assessment
Our technician visits to assess your existing wiring, panel condition, circuit loads, and scope of work — all before any commitment.
2
Detailed Quotation
You receive an itemised quote covering labour, materials, cable routing plan, and timeline. No hidden charges — what you approve is what you pay.
3
Scheduled Installation
Work is carried out on your confirmed schedule with minimal disruption. Power is safely isolated before any work begins — no shortcuts.
4
Testing & Certification
All circuits are tested for continuity, insulation resistance, and earth fault loop impedance using calibrated equipment before power is restored.
5
Handover & Documentation
You receive a signed completion report, updated circuit directory, and photo documentation — useful for future maintenance or property sales.
★★★★★

"MKW Global managed our entire office partition setup and full-phase electrical re-wiring. The project was handed over ahead of schedule, every circuit was documented, and the DB board was neatly labelled. Truly professional work."

Got Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my wiring needs to be replaced?
Warning signs include frequently tripping MCBs, flickering lights, burning smells near sockets, discoloured switches or outlets, or wiring that's more than 20 years old. If your home or office still has rubber-insulated wiring, it should be replaced immediately as it becomes brittle and a fire hazard with age.
What is a DB box and when does it need upgrading?
A Distribution Board (DB box) is the central panel that distributes electrical power to all circuits in your property. It needs upgrading when: you're adding new heavy appliances, the existing MCBs trip frequently, you're renovating and adding new circuits, or the panel is outdated and doesn't have RCCB (earth leakage) protection — which is a serious safety gap.
Do I need a permit for electrical works in Malaysia?
Yes. Under the Electricity Supply Act 1990, all electrical installation works must be carried out by a registered Wireman (Juruteknik Elektrik) licensed by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission). All our electricians hold valid ST licences. For commercial premises, a Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) or TNB inspection may also be required.
How long does a full house rewiring take?
A standard terrace house rewiring takes 2–4 days depending on the number of floors and circuits. Apartments typically take 1–2 days. Commercial premises vary widely. We provide a detailed timeline in the quotation so you can plan around any power outages during the work.
Can you add new power points without major hacking?
In many cases, yes. We can route cables through conduits along skirting boards or within ceiling voids to minimise wall cutting. Where some hacking is necessary, we reinstate and plaster the surface as part of the job — we don't leave exposed chase marks.
Do you handle both residential and commercial electrical projects?
Yes — we work on landed homes, condominiums, shoplots, offices, factories, and retail fit-outs. For larger commercial and industrial projects, we can provide detailed drawings and coordinate with TNB directly for supply upgrades and meter room installations.
